Beschreibung:

It is already known that 2D cell culture models are not efficient in predicting effective tumor therapy and to make this more accurate 3D models such as organoids and/or spheroids were used in the many applications in research. However, both cell culture models remain distant from the real state of the tumor in the patient's body, so the use of the bioreactor provides a better way to mimic the state of the tumor and the cells to reflect the in vivo environment. “CERO” bioreactor will help to improve precise individualized therapy for patients with pancreatic cancer and with sarcoma. The project will focus on:
•Generation of TOC of pancreatic carcinoma and sarcoma
•Treatment with mono and synergy chemotherapy.
•In toto deep tissues processing (clearing, staining and microscopy (confocal microscopy). (NEW STEP throughput therapy screening in the clinic in the future).
•Image analysis and therapy quantification

(The tumor models have been established and others are being generated).
